As Coach Taylor takes over the team, he soon finds out that nothing is the same. After a confrontation between Matt and Smash during the practice, Coach Taylor has to make some difficult decisions regarding the team selection. Riggins tries to make Lyla convince Jason to not go through the tentative treatment.

Riggins must prove his worth to the team or he is permanently out.

After a conversation with Lyla, Landry considers turning himself in to the authorities for killing Tyra’s assailant.

Tim must find a way to return the money he stole from his drug dealing ex-roommate. Buddy Garrity hires Jason as his newest salesman at the car dealership. Landry seems to have a budding relationship with a younger classmate to Tyra’s dismay.
